HUMAN SERVICES: For many of us there is inside a sincere desire to help others. The study of human services provides an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the nature of humankind, while also gaining a deeper understanding of the self which ultimately translates into becoming better helpers. The best helpers are those who express empathy and understanding, while also knowledgeable of systems and services available to assist those in need. The study of human services provides a foundation to better understanding the community.
