Main Campus

Modern facilities, lush green spaces, and student-centric design characterize Merced College’s Main Campus, an oasis in the City of Merced. We offer the first two years of study for a bachelor’s degree, over 80 associate degree majors and over 50 certificate programs on campus.

We are consistently renovating our facilities to provide an enhanced student experience. A mix of active and quiet spaces, Main Campus reflects our commitment to student success, with easy access to student services, resources, and engagement opportunities.

Main Campus is home to an innovative collection of academic, administrative, athletic, and support facilities.

Relax at the Student Union, visit the campus bookstore, explore dining options or get involved with student life via the Equity Hub, clubs or student government.

The renovated Downey Learning Resource Center (LRC) is a hub of academic and support resources with a bustling lower floor, collaborative work rooms and quiet study spaces.

The Agricultural and Industrial Technology Complex is a new, state-of-the-art facility with over 20,000 square feet of classroom and laboratory space for programs in agribusiness, industrial technology, horticulture, HVAC, crop science and animal science.

The Student Services Lesher Building is a multifunctional location that provides most of our student services including admissions and financial aid.

Main Campus is home to Stadium ’76, a tennis court, softball and baseball diamonds, and several athletic fields.
