Allied Health students must adhere to clearance requirements in order to be accepted into, and continue enrollment in, Allied Health Programs‘ clinical courses. Requirements include: background checks, drug screenings, vaccinations. Merced College follows the requirements put in place by our clinical partners.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

This program offers didactic, directed hands-on laboratory, and professionally supervised clinical training in General Sonography.

The Merced College Registered Dental Assisting Program prepares students for a rewarding career in one of the fastest-growing healthcare fields. Designed as a comprehensive, hands-on training experience, this Certificate of Achievement program can be completed in just 10 months, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enter the workforce as competent registered dental assistants.
