Promise Housing provides an all-inclusive, on-campus living at UC Merced designed to stay under $1,000 per month with no surprise bills. Built to work seamlessly with your financial aid, it offers a predictable and cost-effective alternative to off-campus rentals in Merced.

Live on UC Merced’s campus while attending Merced College.

The “Promise” Intersegmental Affordable Student Housing Building is a collaborative project between UC Merced and Merced College, designed to support the transition of Merced College transfer students into UC Merced’s academic community.

• Located on UC Merced’s Campus – Promise Housing is situated directly on the UC Merced campus on Bellevue Road, adjacent to existing residence halls and campus infrastructure.

• Transit-Supported Connectivity – Students have access to UC Merced transit services and city bus routes, with additional bike infrastructure improvements underway between campuses.
