Our mission is to connect students with the academic support services and resources needed to achieve their educational goals.

About the Program

The Student Success Program provides comprehensive academic support services which includes: the Student Success & Tutorial Center, Study Central, Library Services, and the Embedded Tutor Program. The Program’s purpose is to increase student success and retention by providing academic support services that fit the diverse needs, multiple strengths, and the various ability levels of Merced College students.

Friday: 9:00am-1:00pm

Online Tutoring Available:

Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-12:00pm
Monday-Thursday: 4:00pm-6:00pm

Embedded tutoring sessions are open to all students in the course and are attended in SSTC on a voluntary basis FREE of charge.

Student Success Workshops

Study Central hosts a variety of workshops throughout the semester on topics that support student success! Students can attend the workshops on a drop-in basis, in-person at the Downey Learning Resource Center, Room 156 or online via Zoom.

The Los Banos Student Success Center (SSC) is a collaborative space where students can receive assistance from highly trained peer tutors and dedicated faculty specializing in various academic fields.
