Our missions is to provide students with services, education,  and resources necessary to make responsible, informed choices regarding their physical and mental health and well-being.

Personal Counseling

Personal Counseling services are available to currently enrolled students at Merced College. Counseling provided is short-term and available during the fall and spring semesters. Limited services are available during the summer semesters.  Appointments can be made by calling or stopping by Student Health Services.

Counseling Office

Personal Counseling is designed to serve Merced College (MC) students who are experiencing stress or other emotional difficulties. Frequently, these difficulties affect a student’s academic performance or their ability to function effectively in social, academic, or work settings. To assist students in overcoming these challenges, we offer therapy free of charge to MC students that are enrolled in credit courses.
