What is the HUB?

The Hub-Center for Equity and Diversity is a collaborative and all-inclusive space on campus. We are committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity while promoting a campus learning environment that encourages and supports all students in persisting toward their educational goals.  The Hub empowers students to explore, affirm, and celebrate their individual and intersectional identities and define success for themselves.  The Hub works collaboratively with our diverse campus and local community partners to establish a learning and working environment that is inclusive and equitable. As a central gathering space, students can utilize and enjoy the lounge area, recreational activities, attend workshops, celebrate monthly historical events, and obtain academic counseling services.

Available at The Hub

  • Workshops/Guest Speakers

    The hub will host monthly workshops and guest speakers to present at the campus. Presenters and events can be located on the Hub’s Calendar.

  • Laptops

    Laptops are available for students to use at the Hub. Availability is provided on first-come basis.

  • Academic Counseling

    Counselors are available for students’ academic support. Counseling appointment for Student Equity Counselors can be schedule online or call 209-381-6478.

Come lounge and play

Students can come relax and socialize in the lounge area provided at The Hub. This area can be use for small gathering and open meeting space. Plus, recreational activities and board games available for students to play and engage with other students.
