SPRING 2019 WORK EXPERIENCE COURSES 

“Where Your Job Site Becomes Your Classroom”

Earn transfer-level elective units while you work or volunteer! All types of jobs count—on campus, off campus, and anywhere in between**. Learn valuable real-world skills while earning units; it’s a win for you and your employers. Maintain fulltime student status while balancing school, work, and home life. Each unit of credit requires 60 volunteer or 75 paid hours. 

WORK 40: General Work Experience (Merced and Los Banos sections) 1-6 units possible (LB 1-4 units)
ANSC 24: Work Experience in Animal Science  2 unit option
ALLH 24: Work Experience in Allied Health 1-4 units 
CLDV 24: Work Experience in Child Development (Merced and Los Banos sections) 1-4 units 
HMSV 24: Work Experience in Human Services (Merced and Los Banos sections) 1-4 units 
LAND-24: Work Experience in Landscape Horticulture 1-3 units
LBST 24: Work Experience in Liberal Studies (Merced and Los Banos sections) 1-4 units 
KINE 24: Work Experience in Kinesiology  1 unit option 
COOP 41 A-D Criminal Justice* 1-4 units 

*These courses require an in-person visit to register. See Dr. Pimentel in COMM-13 to register. Once the semester has started, you can register by attending an orientation.
