Degrees and Certificates

Community College students who are awarded an AA-T or AS-T degree are guaranteed admission with junior standing somewhere in the CSU system and given priority admission consideration to their local CSU campus. For more information, consult with your counselor or view the course catalog.

Students may complete a Certified Nursing Assistant program each semester. 

A variety of workforce oriented classes are offered, such as pre-Licensed Vocational Nursing courses, computer applications, and custom courses for local businesses. 

Noncredit vs. Not-for-Credit

The Adult Education and Noncredit Programs offers noncredit classes, which are free “0” unit classes.

Interested in other Majors?

Students interested in other Merced College majors often complete their breadth classes in Los Banos and commute to Merced for their major coursework. For example, all of the prerequisites to the popular Registered Nursing degree program are available at the Los Banos Campus.
