NextUp (Current/Former Foster Youth)
Mission
The NextUp Program is a service provided through EOPS to assist eligible current and former foster youth. The program’s goal is to encourage enrollment, retention, and transfer by offering additional services including NextUp orientation, academic counseling, workshops, grants, meal cards, transportation cards, parking permits, educational supplies, and much more.
We collaborate with other departments on campus and community partners to ensure students have wrap around support. Through peer mentorship and collaborative efforts NextUp’s goal is to bridge the gap and increase student’s academic and personal outcomes.

We offer campus tours, presentations, off site enrollment, and more. We have a dedicated Enrollment and Retention Specialist that will meet your youth where they are most comfortable or where it is the most convenient.
