The Student Success Office hires Tutors, Embedded Tutors, and Student Assistants each semester. 
Current openings are listed below.

Tutors

Semester Needed Subject Requirements & How to Apply
Ongoing Student Success & Tutorial Center (SSTC) Please complete a Tutor Application Form and email the completed form to [email protected].

  • Must be enrolled in at least 12 units during fall/spring (three credit units during summer) at Merced College.
  • Must have earned an A or B grade in each subject you wish to tutor. (Exception: Chemistry tutors must receive an A grade to tutor this subject.)
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

 

Embedded Tutors

Semester Needed Subject Requirements & How to Apply
Fall 2025 TBA Please complete a Tutor Application Form and email the completed form to [email protected].
