How Do I Check Out a Study Room?

The Downey Learning Resource Center in Merced has Study Rooms on both the 1st and 2nd floors, and the Los Baños Campus Library has two Study Rooms available. The Study Rooms in Merced are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Study Rooms in Los Baños can be checked out with your student ID.

Downey Learning Resource Center

1st Floor

  • 6 study rooms
  • Seat up to 5 people
  • Reserve on a drop-in basis for up to 1 hour at a time
  • Each room has a whiteboard
  • Rooms 131 & 132 include collaborative technology that allow you to connect your phone or laptop to monitors using ClickShare Buttons.
    • Check out the ClickShare Buttons at the 1st Floor Circulation Desk with your student ID.

2nd Floor- Quiet Zone

  • 3 study rooms
  • Seat up to 5 people
  • Reserve on a drop-in basis for up to 1 hour at a time
  • Each room has a whiteboard
  • Rooms 207, 208, & 209 include collaborative technology that allow you to connect your phone or laptop to monitors using ClickShare Buttons.

    • Room 123 seats 6 people
    • Room 124 seats 4 people
  • Check out at the Circulation Desk
