Community Classes
Merced College’s Community Education department provides short-term, not-for-credit classes, career-training programs, and professional and/or personal development. College credit is not given for classes conducted by Community Education. There are no transcripts or grades. Community Education is a self-supporting entity of the college and is a self-funding program. Classes are located at the Business Resource Center, Downtown Merced, 630W. 19th St. Merced, CA. If you have a special interest or a particular need for a class, please send us your suggestions(s).

Intro to Pickleball II
Learn the fast growing sport of pickleball at the Merced College tennis courts. This fun and easy to learn class introduces you to the rules, basic techniques, and gameplay in a supportive environment. All skill levels are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Just bring your enthusiasm and be ready to play. The class will be taught by Steve Padilla.

Lap Swim
Enjoy open lap swim at the Merced College Pool throughout the year. Our only time slot will be 12:00pm-1:00pm. (Closed on Fridays)
