Community Offerings
Merced College’s Community Education department provides short-term, not-for-credit classes, career-training programs, and professional and/or personal development. College credit is not given for classes conducted by Community Education. Community Education is a self-supporting entity of the college and is a self-funding program.
Bus Trip to Cannery Row
Looking for something fun to do on May 2?
Join us for a relaxing and exciting day trip to Monterey’s Cannery Row!
Our pick-up location is at the Business Resource Center on 630 W 19th Street. We leave promptly at 8am and will return to Merced at 8:45pm.
Registration is $50 per person. All you have to do is sit back, explore, and enjoy your day by the coast. Spots are limited!

Looking for something fun to do on June 13?
Come along for a fun and relaxing day trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk!
Our pick-up location is at the Business Resource Center on 630 W 19th Street. We leave promptly at 8am and will return to Merced at 8:50pm.
Registration is $50 per person. All you have to do is sit back, explore, and enjoy your day in Santa Cruz. Spots are limited!
