Data for Impact

Our Data for Impact initiative connects faculty and staff with the data they need to drive meaningful change, from improving course design to informing strategic decision-making. Learn how to turn your data into a force for equity, student success, and institutional transformation. 

The Institutional Effectiveness Metrics (IEMs) are available with MC login on the Office of Institutional Effectiveness – IE_Metrics  This multi-year course and program-level data includes:

  1. Student Success (course completion rates/ awards & certificates);  
  2. Credit Course Productivity (FTEF, FTES, WSCH);  
  3. Student Demographics (age, gender, race/ethnicity). IEM data can be used to supplement data provided in program reviews and faculty hiring prioritization data, as well as other reporting needs (such as, accreditation or grant reporting).   These metrics can also provide additional context for reviewing your individual section- level data with program/district-wide outcomes.
