Welcome to The 1st Lt. Peter J. Gallo Veterans Resource Center

Merced College welcomes military, veterans, and family members wishing to further their education and encourages them to seek assistance through the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) located in the Student Union Building.  Staff are available to provide the paperwork and information necessary to establish eligibility.

Academic counselors specializing in Veterans services are available to provide educational and career planning, and Disabled Student Program Services.  Veterans Counseling is provided in the VRC located in the Student Union Building, Room 126.

General counseling services are provided on the second floor of the Lesher Student Services Center, next to Admissions.  Class registration information can be found using the Searchable Class Schedule.

Veterans and family members are also supplied with information about other campus resources and local agencies services.   Department of Veterans Affairs encourages all new and returning veterans and family members to contact them directly www.benefits.va.gov/gibill or (888) 442-4551 for questions about their benefits and payments.
