The 1st Lt. Peter J. Gallo Veterans Resource Center at Merced College provides support services to student veterans, active-duty military members, reservists, and their dependents. The VRC helps ease the transition from military to civilian life and provides resources for academic success.

    The Merced College Veterans Resource Center offers online, phone, and email counseling for student veterans and their families via Zoom. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by contacting the VRC at (209) 381-6161 or [email protected].

    The Veterans Resource Center FAQs page provides quick answers about services like VA benefits certification, academic counseling, military withdrawal, financial aid, and campus resources available to veterans and their families. It also explains how to connect with VRC staff and access support both in person and online.

  • Credit For Prior Learning

    The Credit for Prior Learning page explains how veterans can earn college credit for military or work experience. Students must meet with a counselor to develop an education plan and start the CPL process.
