2026 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient
Dr. Christie Bryant
Owner, Bryant Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy
Dr. Christie Bryant’s connection to Merced College began as a student-athlete, playing basketball for the Blue Devils from 2005–2007. Her time on the court was part of a journey that would eventually lead her to a career centered on helping others stay active, recover from injury, and get back to doing what they love.
Today, Dr. Bryant is the owner of Bryant Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, where she continues to make an impact in the community through her work in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
Through the years, she has remained connected to Merced College and continues to support our students and the Blue Devil community. Most recently, she was recognized during our inaugural Merced College Soccer Alumni Match, a special event that brought generations of former Blue Devils back to campus.
From Blue Devil student-athlete to local business owner and community supporter, Dr. Bryant continues to represent the lasting impact of a Merced College education.
