Alumni Business Spotlight: Elizabeth’s Bridal

We’re excited to kick off our Alumni Business Spotlight series with Patty Singh, proud Merced College alum and owner of Elizabeth’s Bridal—one of the largest bridal boutiques in California. From her time as a student to her success as a small business owner, Patty’s journey is rooted in community, creativity, and love for helping others celebrate life’s biggest moments.

Q&A

My dad has owned House of Furniture here in Merced for nearly 40 years, and I grew up in retail. I saw that Merced didn’t have a bridal boutique, and I thought, “Why not keep it at home?” I wanted to bring something special to our small town that brides usually have to travel for.

We opened in 2019, and we’ve grown into one of the largest bridal boutiques in California. We serve brides from all over the state—from the Bay Area to Southern California. What makes us special is that we bring a high-end, personal experience to a community that truly values connection. Our team is dedicated to making every bride feel confident, beautiful, and celebrated.

Merced College was the first step in my higher education. I started in 2014, then transferred to CSU Stanislaus where I earned my degree in Business Administration. Merced College gave me the foundation I needed to move forward with confidence and purpose.

Whatever you do, give it 110%. Always put in your full effort. Whether it’s school, a job, or starting your own business—success comes when you’re all in.

You can visit us in Merced or find us online at www.elizabethsbridalca.com. We’re also active on social media—follow us on Instagram and TikTok at @elizabethsbridal, and on Facebook at Elizabeth’s Bridal. We’d love to connect with you!
