The Merced College RSVP Program offers training in the prevention of sexual violence to all students, faculty, and staff.  Contact the RSVP Program to schedule a workshop for your student group, athletic team, or class.

Required Prevention and Education Awareness Training

At Merced College, sexual assault prevention education begins before a student steps foot on campus as a Blue Devil.  All incoming students must watch the Prevention Education Awareness video as part of their orientation activities.

Active Bystander Training Workshops

We offer 45-minute in-person bystander education workshops for students, faculty, and staff.  Merced College uses an inclusive, comprehensive approach to teach skills to be involved bystanders and caring supporters who look out for one another.  Learn to recognize signs of sexual violence. Gain the skills to support your peers in potentially harmful situations. Everyone can safely and effectively stop sexual violence before it starts!

Our next workshop is Wednesday, May 8 @12-1pm in Downey LRC 156.  A zoom option is also available. Contact rsvp.program@mccd.edu for more info.
