Program Description

The theatre department offers a well-rounded program of courses that fulfill most lower-division requirements of four-year colleges and universities. MC theatre students have transferred successfully to the University of California system, the California State University system, and private colleges.

The Associate of Arts degree also prepares students for pre-professional and community theatre. Many Merced College theatre graduates are working professionally in film, theatre, and education.
