February 2024’s DIG will explore Merced College students who are placed on ‘probation’ (academic and/or progress).

Data questions explored will include:

  • What’s the role of SSSP steps? How does completing an educational plan (abbreviated, comprehensive) impact students who are on ‘probation’?
  • What are the outcomes for students when removed from ‘probation’?
  • Are certain student groups being disproportionally impacted and on ‘probation’?

Using a data-informed equity framework, this workshop will include potential next steps on how to better support Merced College students on ‘probation.’
