Allied Health students must adhere to clearance requirements in order to be accepted into, and continue enrollment in, Allied Health Programs clinical courses. Requirements include: background checks, drug screenings, vaccinations. Merced College follows the requirements put in place by our clinical partners.

Our Programs

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography

    This program offers didactic, directed hands-on laboratory, and professionally supervised clinical training in General Sonography.

  • Diagnostic Radiologic Technology

    This is a full-time Associate Degree and Certificate of Achievement program.

  • Nurse Assistant

    The course provides clinical instruction and practice of basic nursing skills required of nursing assistants employed in skilled nursing facilities and extended care facilities.

  • Registered Nursing

    This program prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Vocational Nursing

    Vocational Nursing curriculum comprises three semesters of combined didactic and clinical work on campus and at affiliated health care facilities.
