Program Eligibility

The Center serves children of Merced College students, staff, and community individuals who meet our financial eligibility criteria.  The main criteria to be used in determining a child’s admission will be the parent’s income, family size, and academic progress at Merced College and/or employment.  Enrollment will be based on eligibility, lowest income being served first as set by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division.

Tuition is usually covered by a State Block Grant according to family size and income.
