Admission to MCELI is open to all individuals, 17 years of age or older. Students must provide written proof with their application of their ability to support themselves in the United States, or provide documentation of support provided by a parent or sponsor.
To be considered for a position as a student in the MCELI, the following items must be submitted:
- A completed MCELI Application Form.
- Print Application Form [133k pdf]
- Note: MCELI does not accept forms through E-Mail.
- MCELI Admission, Tuition, and other optional fee payments.
- Written proof of financial support, such as a bank statement
The name of the account holder must match the name of the person responsible for tuition & living expense of the student while in the U.S.. A recent Statement must show the amount of $12,000.00 or more in U.S. dollars (issued within the past year).
- A current health examination report.
International applicants are required to submit a Health Examination Report. Please take the health form to a clinic, and have your doctor complete the form after the examination.
Students who successfully complete the application process and are accepted by MCELI will receive an I-20 form from Merced College, which is fully authorized to issue this document. The I-20 allows students to study at MCELI.
