Honors 40A: The Sixties Experience
This seminar will focus on the in-depth discussion
and analysis of the philosophy, politics, and music of the 1960's.
If possible a field trip to People's Park, the UC, Berkeley campus, City
Lights Bookstore, and the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood will be scheduled
for students in the class.
Honors 40B: Native American
Philosophy
This seminar will focus on the in-depth discussion
and analysis of Native American philosophy, politics, and music.
If possible a field trip to the powwow at Stanford University will be
scheduled for students in the class.
Honors 40C: Philosophy and Rock Music
This seminar will discuss and analyze traditional
philosophical questions through the use of classic rock music. If
possible a field trip to a music festival in the San Francisco Bay Area
will be scheduled for students in the class.
Honors 40A: The Philosophy of Sex and Love
This seminar will focus on the in-depth discussion
and analysis of religious, philosophical, and psychological theories
pertaining to sex and love. If possible a field trip to a relevant
lecture, museum, or cultural event will be scheduled for students in the
class.
