Foster Childcare & Youth Classes

Parents

  1. You must call the Foster & Kinship Care Education Office at (209) 381-6578 no later than 1:00 pm the day of class to reserve a space for your child each time you plan to use Childcare.
  2. The staff at the Child Development Center (CDC) have been directed not to accept any child whose name is not on the reservation list for that evening.
  3. The CDC staff have also been directed to refuse any child with a runny nose, cough, fever, or any other symptoms indicating the child is ill. Additionally, if a child becomes ill, the parent will be called out of class to pick the child up.
  4. Please understand, when you utilize the child care center you must attend the FKCE class.
  5. If your child has special medical needs, please contact the FKCE Office at least one week in advance so arrangements can be made for a Public Health Nurse to be on-site to support your child's needs.
