College Foster/Kinship Care Education is a program designed to offer
education to people who are foster parents or wanting to become foster
parents. These classes cover basic parenting issues as well as special
needs topics. Kinship Care classes are designed for grandparents or
other family members who are caring for a relative's child. Topics
include methods and techniques to handle issues and challenges unique
to kinship care. Classes are open to the public. For detailed class

the basics of using Microsoft computer applications. The three modules
of this class are Internet, Computer Basics, and Beyond Computer Basics.
In Intro to the Internet, students will learn basic internet terms
and how to create an email account. In Computer Basics, students will
learn how to create, open, and save word and spreadsheet documents
using Microsoft Word & Excel. The last module will briefly introduce
students to the powerful presentation tool that is PowerPoint and the
