Welcome To Merced
College's S.A.F.E. Club website. S.A.F.E. stands for Students
Advocating For Equality. The club is for anyone and everyone who has
ever in there life felt discriminated against because of a
difference in the way they live there life. It could be race, sex,
sexual orientation, disabilities, etc. Our goal is to educate others
and ourselves in becoming more effective
problem solvers in our community, to build a stronger
community through education and understanding, and to offer a safe
zone for individuals who face feelings of discrimination. Besides
educating ourselves and others to better our understanding about
life we do a lot of personal sharing and community activities. We
support strict personal confidentiality. In the past we have taken a
field trip and hope to do that more as the semester continues. Our
most important goal of the club is to promote self worth and
education of those who are different. Past Adventures: San Francisco
