Matriculation
|
Matriculation (pronounced mah-trick-u-lay-shun)
is an agreement between the student and Merced
College.
- The college agrees to
provide a step by step process to help you
explore and choose classes and programs that
will lead to your academic and career goals.
- You agree that you will
follow the process in order to pursue your
goals successfully.
- This agreement includes
responsibilities for the student and for the
college.
- It is expected that each
student will become a matriculated student.

A matriculated student is
one who has:
- Fewer than 15 units
completed at
Merced College, and
- Completed the
orientation, and
- Completed assessment
testing, and
- Register for classes
using your MC4ME Portal
- Or... has completed an
Educational Plan, which is the plan of
coursework you need to complete to achieve
your certificate, degree or transfer goal.
More information about educational planning
is provided in the counseling section.
