About the Program

The Student Success Program provides comprehensive academic support services which includes: the Student Success & Tutorial Center, Study Central, Library Services, and the Embedded Tutor Program. The Program’s purpose is to increase student success and retention by providing academic support services that fit the diverse needs, multiple strengths, and the various ability levels of Merced College students.

Message from the Director of Student Success

Hello everyone!  My name is Tomasia Drummond and I am the Director of Student Success.  Having been raised in a family that believes education is the key to success, I consider it my mission to provide students with necessary tools to overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals.  I believe that given the correct resources and support, all students who enter Merced College have the ability to accomplish their dreams.
