Financial Aid Workshop requires income verification for applicant.

Additionally, parent's annual income is required for students under the age of 24 years. Students who are under 24 years but are either married or have children do not need to provide their parent's income.

Examples of income verification:

• Federal Income Tax return and W2's from prior year (2007)
• Social Security Card and Driver's License
• Records of untaxed income such as Social Security or cash aid benefits
• Value of bank accounts
• Net worth of investments
• Net work of business of farm, if applicable
• Alien Registration card, if applicable

Need assistance applying for financial aid?

The Merced College, Los Banos Campus financial aid office offers the following workshops for the Spring 2009 semester. FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) assistance is also available by contacting Financial Aid staff members, Daniel Ruiz (email: daniel.ruiz@mccd.edu or Delia Regalado (email: delia.regalado@mccd.edu), in the Student Services Building A, or by phone at (209) 826-3495.

Once you receive your financial aid information by mail or email bring it into our office as soon as possible. We process your paperwork according to the date you bring it into our office. The sooner you bring it into our office the sooner we will be able to award your financial aid grants.
