Merced College will become a tobacco-free campus beginning this fall. Signs have been posted around both campuses to alert staff and students to the new policy, which the Board of Trustees adopted in October 2016.
Board Policy 3570 prohibits cigarettes, cigars, all tobacco products (chew, snuff, etc.), pipes of all kinds including hookahs, water pipes, and bongs, smokeless devices including non-regulated nicotine products, and other smoking devices.
