Recording MP3 audio
THIS WEEK'S MOST POPULAR QUESTION MIGHT BE YOURS... (find out clicking here)

Recording a MP3 audio file.

Someone asked me for a simple way to record and save MP3 audio files that I create using my microphone and computer.

Note: Because of copyright issues, MS sound recorder only saves 60 second audio tracks.

Note: MP3 is a friendly space saving audio format.

It is an easy process.
It is very easy!

1. GO TO SOUND RECORDER:

2. RECORD YOUR FILE BY CLICKING THE RED BUTTON. ( I am assuming you have already plugged your mike and set it up)

3. SAVE THE FILE AS MP3 (This is the most complicated part of the process. It consists of 4 steps)

First Step (click save)

Second Step (click change)

Third Step (Change format to MP3, or MPEG Layer-3) and change the attributes (6kb/sec is High Fidelity)
Use the drop down boxes and when done click OK

Fourth Step (chose a name for the file and SAVE)
