Register for Courses online

• First of all, you need to access MC4ME Portal  

• After you have logged in to MC4ME Portal , click on Registration

• Click on register for sections

• Click on Search and register for sections

• This is a Search Engine. Choose the Term, and select the Subject (this is the fast way of doing it)

NOTE: Our computer system (MC4ME Portal
/Datatel) is not programmed to answer all the variables. That means that even though you may have a right to register for a course, the system will tell you otherwise. That is specially the case in English and Math classes with pre-requisites achieved via Assessment test and/or at another College. Please come and register in person.

• Click Submit
  

• You will see another page. You have not register yet. Continue the registration process. Select column choose the course you want to register for.

• Click Submit

• On the action column choose the desired option: RG Register, RP Register Pass/Fail, RM Remove from list, WT Add to Waitlist

• Click Submit

• The next page should state that your request was processed. Your class has now been added. Congratulations!

If you get an error message saying:  "You are not authorized to access the requested process" after registering, please ignore it. Go to your Schedule of Classes and verify that the course you registered for is there. It should be. This is a bug. We apologize. We are trying to fix it.

• What do I do if I get the following error message?
  “The student has not reached their appointment time yet – check STMC (10)”,

You need to go to Admissions & Records.  This message means that your Priority Registration Date is not up yet.
ALSO, if you are trying to register for Labs (example: section 5000) and you get this message, and registration season is open; it means you need to wait until your registration date shows up (sorry...!).

There is a Bug in MC4ME Portal
when trying to register for courses online. Students will get the following error message when choosing the Action to Register on the registration procedure:  "You are not authorized to access the requested process" Please ignore it. In order to confirm that you successfully registered, please go to your Schedule of Classes and verify that the course you registered for is there. This is a bug. We apologize. We are trying to fix it.

• If you get an error saying: You are not eligible for registration. New and returning students are not eligible for Web Registration, please come and register in person.

• If the system tells you that you are on probation, and you cannot register. Please attend a probation workshop: probation workshop schedule

How to Drop a Class

• After you have logged in to MC4ME Portal
  , click on Register for Sections (if you do not know how to log in, click here)

• Click on Drop Sections

• Choose RM-Remove from list on the drop down box of those courses you want to drop.
