How to access MC4ME Portal for the first time
Set challenge answers
Written and pictorial instructions

•  Go to http://mc4me.mccd.edu/

•  Find your username

  Click on the link that says New to the portal? Click here to fond your username?)

•  Type your last name (or last names) and your seven digit student ID number. Click submit.

•  If you have two last names, type them with, without a space, or with a hyphen.

•  Close MC4ME Portal
  and type your username on MC4ME portal.

•  Type your password

  •  Your initial password is your birth date in MMDDYY format.

  •  If you have already establish a password in 2010, you may use it.

  •  The reset password (I forgot my password) link is not actually helpful until the user has setup his challenge questions.

  •  If you need a password reset, call 384 6180 and say: I need a password reset.

•  Type a new password twice. You need to invent a new password with upper, lower case and a special character (such as a comma or a period).

•  The system will acknowledge the change.

•  Type your answers to the question challenge, which will make your account secure.

•  You need this feature to be able to reset the password on your own.

•  Remember to choose one word answers (all lower case)

•  Click the two left arrows to find the next five questions. There are a total of 15 questions. You only need to answer 5.

•  When you are done, click the 'Set Challenges' button

•  Log in once again with your new 'credentials' (user name and password)
