I truly enjoy nursing and "being a nurse".  It has given me a great many opportunities that I would have not experienced had I not chosen this profession.

I graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, Pennsylvania with a Diploma in Nursing and worked in the Intensive and Coronary Care Unit.  I continued my education at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  I am currently a student at California State University, Dominguez Hills working on a Master's of Science in Nursing with emphasis on Nursing Education.  As you can see, as a nurse we are lifelong learners.

I am married to a wonderful husband and together we have four beautiful children.  They keep us very busy.  Between school, water polo, baseball and basketball there isn't much time to breathe!!  I value the time I share with my family and really believe that is were our focus and strength come from.
