MATH 80 -- LAB 9 Merced

1. The Math Lab is located in North Portables 4,
building NP-4
2. Check in at the desk, and sign out a Math 80
CD. You will need your Student Body
Card.
3. Select a computer to work at, insert the CD,
and click on the picture of our textbook
4. Select the assigned chapter.
5. Your assignment is to work all the
Chapter Practice Sets (not the Section Resource Exercises)
6. Before working a problem, I recommend that you scroll down
(using the scroll bar on the right) to see the whole problem and the "back
and forth" arrows at the bottom of the screen
You can either
a. Type in the answer (or, for multiple choice,
click on the answer), or
b. Ask for a step-by-step solution or an
example.
7. When you are done with each question,
click on Check Answer. Then click on the
arrow to move to the next problem.
Do not click on OK or the double arrow until you are done with
all the problems.
8. After
you finish all the exercises for a practice set, choose SUMMARY to view your
score. Fill in: Your
score
The
problem numbers you missed (so I can see where the class is having problems)
The
date
Show the Math Lab Instructor your score, and
have the instructor initial this worksheet.
9. Do not print your results.
10. When you are done, turn in your CD.
