PHILOSOPHY 5:

Contemporary Moral and Social Issues

This course is concerned with the philosophical examination of moral and social issues in light of ethical theories and moral reasoning.  

Expected Student Outcomes: By the end of this course students will be able to:

Examine the fundamental problems of philosophical/ethical reflection, as well as propose  responses to these problems; compose responses to these problems that illustrate an understanding of the essential terminology and techniques; analyze and compare his/her own philosophical positions with those of others.
