Extra Credit Opportunities: Wildflower Day Saturday April 5th Attend either the Bird Walk (9:30 am) or the Wildflower Walk (10:00 am) for 15 points. PLUS! Double up! "Man" a table promoting Earth Day. Fun for the kids too- you'll be helping them make plaster casts of animal tracks. Volunteer to help with this event Saturday April 19th, 8-12 noon. 3 hours = 15 points. See Dr. Latham for the sign up sheet. Take a Wildflower Hike! Every Saturday and Sunday in April, 10:00 am to noon. At Pacheco State Park. The hike is 2 miles long, and is classed as moderate. Bring appropriate hiking footwear, layer clother and a hat, sunscreen and water. Optional- bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day.
