Spanish-35 is a one-unit course that focuses for one entire semester on practicing the placement of written accents on Spanish words. There is no prerequisite for this course, but since pronunciation and the writing of accents go hand in hand, it is necessary that you know how to pronounce Spanish words on the level of Spanish-02, Elementary Spanish. Furthermore, all instructions in the course are given in Spanish.
If you've never taken a Spanish course, but if you speak Spanish with friends and family, ¡bienvenido/a! You're in the right course.
Did you notice that this is an online course? This means that class will be conducted via the Internet and a class management system called Blackboard.
Scared of taking online classes? Fear not, this course is actually ideal for getting your feet wet with the online medium since the paths to take are well laid out and easy to follow. In the past, students with minimal computer experience were able to take this class online SUCCESSFULLY.
There will be only one class meeting, namely the orientation:
¿Cuándo? el 23 de enero del 2009 de las 7 hasta las 9 de la noche
¿Dónde? en el edificio IAC-124, un edificio rosado cerca de la piscina
¿Por qué? para explicarte acerca de browser checks, tu nombre de usuario y cómo modificar tu teclado para permitirte a escribir las letras españolas
Since all the class information is furnished online, the purchase of additional materials, textbooks, etc. is not necessary.
