INTERNET TASK  You may also use “hard copy” ads and cartoons from magazines or newspapers.  Using Google (images) or other search engine, locate and print out an advertisement that includes art/photos/graphics as well as text AND a political cartoon (any subject—current is best).

Use the 12 questions on DCRS pg. 340 to evaluate the ad you chose.

Then use the questions from Practice Exercise #6, to evaluate the political cartoon you chose (subject, thesis/argument, point of view, and emotion) (be sure to write out complete sentence answers to the questions
