I created this page to make both myself and my curriculum more accessible to my students. You will find this site easy to navigate, with both syllabus and class notes available for every class. I was drawn to teaching communication studies when I was a freshman at UC Davis. My very first course in the major was public speaking, a class where I had much anxiety. My instructor approached the class with an ease and enthusiasm that transferred to all of us students. The anxiety became less and less intense, and the curriculum from all of my major courses became relevant to "real life." I hope to carry that enthusiasm to my students as well.
