Projects

A An annotated bibliography which focuses on a mutually agreed upon subject. Students will research and annotate several sources that will be preceded by an introductory essay.

B An article length paper which utilizes the sources explored in the annotated bibliography and adheres to the writing conventions of the student's respective discipline.

*We will do three drafts for each paper; the first will be (re)viewed by at least two classmates, and the second will be evaluated by me. (Peer review will be graded.) No late papers will be accepted.

C A summary of an article in which the student will provide the main idea and few significant details of said article.

D A paper chase in which students provide bibliographic information for researched articles. Articles will serve as the sources for both the annotated bibliography and the article.

E A final in which students demonstrate their understanding of the Writing in the Disciplines movement and evaluate its theories and practices.
