EXAM 3 STUDY GUIDE

Exam 1 will cover Chapters 13, 3 (pp. 76-78), and & 16 (APA citations) and information discussed in lecture. The exam will consist of approximately 30-40 multiple-choice questions and 2-3 short answer questions. This review guide is only intended to help you focus on specific material.  Some information that does not appear on this sheet may still appear on the exam! In preparation for the exam you need to review the text, homework assignments, and your lecture notes.

1.The temperature in cities throughout the country that are listed in most newspapers
2.The birth weights of babies who were born at Wilshire General Hospital last week.
3.The number of hours you spent studying each day during the past week.
4.The amount of the tip left after each meal at a restaurant during a 3 hour period.
5.The number of votes received by the Republican and Democratic candidates for Congress in your district in the last election.
6.The brand listed third in a consumer magazine’s ranking of DVD players.
7.Connecticut’s listing as the number one team in a poll of sportswriters, with Kansas listed number two.
8.Your friend’s score on an intelligence test.
