17b Booklist

100 points possible

Ø      Your paper should be 5-7 pages in length, typed/word processed, and double spaced with standard margins.  Pages must be numbered and stapled together.  It must include the check-list as the front page.

Ø      Your mission is to analyze, not summarize your chosen book.  Of course some summary will be necessary to explain some of your author’s main points and to give an overall description f the book, but you need to incorporate some interpretation and analysis as well.

Ø      Some suggestions to direct your analysis:

·        What are the author’s main arguments?

·        Did they produce new information in their field?

·        Does the author agree with others who have written on this subject?

·        Have there been any difficulties interpreting this subject?

·        Does the author produce a good argument?

Helpful Writing Suggestions
