The form the publisher has online is not for electronic forms of texts. If you need the e-text of one of their books, you must contact the acquisitions editor for that particular book. I called the toll-free number and asked for customer service who, in turn, gave me the name, email address, and extension of the editor I needed to contact. I have not had a response yet, since I made the inquiry today (Nov. 19, 2002), but I will keep you all updated.

**Addison-Wesley-Longman

- Use disability request.doc when David asks you to use it for Addison Wesley Longman in New York, for requesting file can be emailed to: David Nickol at  David.Nickol@ABLongman.com or to sarah.mccracken@awl.com.  If you get no response, you may email bette.aaronson@awl.com, head of production at Longman in New York and at Addison-Wesley in Reading, MA.
David handles all English, composition, literature, American and World History, and political science titles.  If you are unsure, always contact David, he is excellent with follow-through and always finds the right person.
Phone: (212) 782-3497
FAX: (847) 486-3742

Frequently, David will ask that you contact another person at an ablongman.com or abacon.com email address. Always attach emails so they know who referred you to them. Do not contact any of these "new" people directly without David's referral; he is always the best line of defense.

**Judith Fiske (Boston, A&B)

# PeachPit Press

- Email request to Jackie Hill at jhcomps@peachpit.com AND Georgia Vaughn georgia@peachpit.com   They will forward request to Timothy Nicholls (Supervisor of Rights and Contracts, Pearson Education). Most of their books are computer courses, and are available online, They will try to encourage a temporary, limited free access to the files on their website. Discourage this; they are able to send the electronic files. You must complete a formal request form which is then emailed to Stephanie Aden. Ask Georgia to email you the form, *(Georgia is most cooperative and excellent with follow-through.)

This system needs to be refined and requires the greatest amount of consistent follow-up.  For all science and math titles, email Greg Middleton at greg_middleton@prenhall.com.  Definitely call for follow-up (323) 822-1386.  For humanities, social sciences, art, English, and psychology titles, email Liz Powell at Elizabeth_powell@prenhall.com.  Only call if necessary (310) 891-3638.  For business and economics, email Stephen Soucy at stephen_soucy@prenhall.com. His phone is (310) 289-0872
