Often times instructors like to give their students assignments that will help increase their awareness about the resources that the Career/Transfer Center has available to them. Our staff delights in helping students complete their assignments and in the process see them realize the numerous opportunities available to them.

Writing Assignments

One of the most popular projects given to students is a written assignment. Instructors require them to use the resources available in our center to research topics for their paper. Most often the topics focus on career, majors, colleges, transfer requirements and scholarships.

Cross Word Puzzle

The Career/Transfer Center has a crossword puzzle available to instructors. This can be given to students after hearing a classroom presentation or as a stand alone assignment requiring students to stop by the center and find out about the resources available to help them.
