Merced County Empower Program offers training and employment opportunities to young adults between the ages of 17-21 years who are out of school and income eligible residents of Merced County. For eligibility and referral to Merced College please contact Empower at 381-6740. Students ineligible for a financial aid fee waiver will be responsible for tuition and health fees. If all eligibility guidelines have been met then the student will receive the following through the Merced College VSSS office: book services, time and attendance monitoring, parking permits, counseling services and assistance with a study plan.
