Student Advocacy
Student
Advocacy:
We assist students with issues regarding school, CalWORKs, work, and
personal. The CalWORKs Program Assistant is available to work with you
to problem solve, research a problem and act as a liaison. You can also
receive assistance with understanding the rules and regulations of CalWORKs.
Boost:
Boost deals with students having problems and/or issues with work-study,
WEX, and class. A student may be referred to boost by a Merced College
employee, instructor, work study supervisor, as well as a WEX supervisor.
