2003 Season Update
Bay Valley and Nor-Cal Champions The lady Blue Devils had quite a season, finishing 26-4. The devils won the Bay Valley Conference going 8-0 and beating Sierra 8-1 for the Nor-Cal Championship and securing their eight straight trip to the State Finals.

Although the season ended with a 7-4 loss to Golden West at the State Championship, Lady Devils finished the season ranked third in the state and with an overall record of 26-4.

Lady Devils Leslie Jackson (Clovis West) was voted M.V.P. of both the Bay Valley Conference and Northern California Conference. She was also on the 2003 All-State team and for the second year in a row named Community College All-American.

Other Lady Devils making First team Bay Valley League and All Nor-Cal Conference were Brooke Eisner (Lodi High) and Sasha Versage (Merced High). Both polo players also were awarded Community College All-American recognition. Freshman Ashley Phelps (Golden Valley) was also voted on the All Nor-Cal team and All-American team this year. Lastly, Kirsten Eberle (Johansen) rounded out the season by making the All Nor-Cal team.

What a great season; winning the Bay Valley Conference, Nor-Cal Champions, going to the state finals, finishing third in state, and having four Lady Devils make All-American! Because of the great season Coach Bill Halpin was named the 2003 Northern California Coach of the Year.
